Your favorite juice company gets a new look. I like it. It’s refreshing considering the old logo was around for quite a few decades. You can read more about it at Brand New.

It’s been six months and I am already talking about the third redesign, I must be crazy! I’ve already began working on the new design for this site and hopefully get it up as soon as I get done with our contest winner Mark’s website. There’s over 100 subscribers to this site, which I guess is a good sign? I haven’t promoted much besides commenting on my favorite blogs.
Ok, ok… enough talk! Here’s the sneak preview of the third revision to this website:

It’s still in works, the design is almost complete and coding will begin soon. But, what do you think so far?
Here are some things coming up:
Lots of things happening. Stay tuned.
I was looking for some inspiration for my next theme release (wordpress powered magazine) and I came around my favorite magazine, BusinessWeek.

Designed by: Modernista!. They completely redesigned their magazine also, you can read more about the redesign here.
I don’t usually check my “adsense” or “analytics” account to see how much I made or how many people are coming. I check it about once a month. Recently, something came to my attention. I was featured in so many CSS galleries. Here is the list: cssmania.com, cssimport.com, screenfluent.com, designshack.co.uk, mostinspired.com, cssbased.com. These sites brought in tremendous amount of traffic, my RSS subscription increased about 30%! There was also a lot of traffic coming from StumbleUpon. Thanks to those who submitted this site!
I remember reading an article on Random Jabber about submitting your site to CSS galleries. I did try to submit my old design which didn’t get accepted in many places, so that motivated me to design a better theme! I take constructive criticism as a motivation to do something better. I noticed that my feed count increased (almost doubled) when I launched this design. The lesson: make sure the look and feel of your site look decent.
The almighty Amazon.com will get a makeover in the coming days. Here’s a preview of what the new site will look like.
I am a huge fan of the usability and simplicity that Amazon offers. Many web designers have a great deal to learn from their website. There are very few companies out there who invest their great deal of time and money into making things easier for their customers. Here are some FAQ about the redesign. They are always such an inspiration. Speaking of inspiration, check out different types of showcases on Elements of Design. Good stuff.
This is the 2nd redesign since the launch in May 2007. The first theme, DM Bloodless, was made available for download 2 months after it’s release. This new theme is called, “DM Dead Poet”, which I don’t know if I’ll release it, we’ll see.
I am still working on things here and there, but please do comment if you find a bug. I am already aware of the “Popular Articles” and “Recent Articles”, which I am currently working on. I’d love to hear your feedback!
Also, I will have to move the Free Wordpress Theme Contest to a later date, since I had no time to promote it. More information to come…
